Super Filling Smoothie Bowl

I make this smoothie bowl whenever I’ve just come home from running around all morning and am absolutely famished! It fills me up until dinner and I don’t even crave afternoon snacks because this is so sweet and yum!

Berry, Banana & Chocolate Smoothie

Ingredients

Smoothie base

  • 1 cup of baby spinach

  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds

  • 1 tablespoon hemp seed powder

  • 1 tablespoon cacao powder

  • 1/2 cup of mixed berries

  • half a frozen banana (ripe for sweetness)

  • handful of crushed nuts (I like peanuts, can use almonds/walnuts whatever you like)

  • Almond milk (add slowly and only add as much as you need to mix the ingredients)

Optional extras

  • Protein powder

  • Greek yogurt / non-dairy yogurt

Garnish

  • Organic unsalted peanut butter

  • Cacao nibs

  • Chia seeds

  • Crushed peanuts

  • Any fresh fruit you like
