Winter is here in Australia (or perhaps just Melbourne…), so I figured it would be a great time to share with you my current winter wardrobe wishlist.
Melbourne winter is definitely my least favourite season of the year (besides the fact that my birthday just so happens to fall in June). I really really hate being cold, but I do love layering pieces together to create cute winter looks, so I guess it isn’t all bad!
My go-to winter look is usually a long sleeve top or shirt, an oversized knit or fleece jumper, straight-leg denim or black/beige/grey trousers with boots/sneakers/docs and an oversized trench coat/woollen coat or blazer on top. If I’m going out in the evening (and can guarantee there will be little-to-no time spent outside) I might sub the pants out for some statement tights or thin black stockings, under-the-knee boots (love mine from By Far) and a mini skirt and silk shirt or silk slip dress with a big coat over the top.
